Ed Fernandez2024-04-13We're so impressed by A-1 Basement Solutions! From the time we first reached out to them, they proved to be a cut above the others we'd reached out to. Steve impressed us with his knowledge of basements, and he walked us through the problems and potential challenges we were facing, and suggested two course of action. We worked with him to then tailor the approach to our needs, and schedule. The work required a couple of days, and two sets of A-1 teams supported the project. Mike, Tyler and Mario were fantastic to work with, as they got our basement ready and assessed the property. Rafino and his team were next, and were equally stellar. Both teams worked extremely hard and diligently, even during bad weather. A-1 was extremely easy to schedule, and they accommodated us for quite a few stages of work, even sooner than we expected, thanks to Kelly at the office. A-1 does terrific work and we're glad we went with them.
John Barker2024-03-26Steve gave great advice over the phone without trying to sell any unnecessary work. He actually advised me to do the work myself and offered some pointers on how to do it as well as his expert opinion about the project. Though we did not hire A-1, my experience strongly suggests to me that A-1 Basement Solutions is trustworthy and honest and I would look to them in the future for sure if I had any other basement projects.
steven kay2024-03-23I had an installation issue with my vent and a part issue. I called them up and they came immediately and fixed the issue without a problem. That’s great customer service and they really cared about making me happy. I will keep that in mind when I need additional work done on my house. Great company and highly recommend.

Sean ORiordan2024-02-16I just wanted to commend the company but one employee in particular... THE COMPANY: They have done work for us in two houses. My wife trusts their work (that says a lot because she has high standards for our homes and is highly knowledgeable, the type who can smell a scam artist a mile away). The owner (I think Steve is his name) is extremely competent (they do great work), BUT, best of all, he has come across as HONEST. That, to me, is everything. We trust this company. Their work is impressive and dependable. We've never had an issue relative to two major jobs (french drain/sumps). EMPLOYEE: Tyler! What a great kid! He was super polite to my wife when she explained prior that he'd have to wait 10-15 minutes until I was able to get there. He came out of the truck, introduced himself, and had such a great/friendly attitude/demeanor...an excellent first impression, as this was my first time actually meeting someone from a company that my wife has trusted for years. From the start, he represented the company very well. I was impressed, and his professionalism actually prompted me to even write this review. Moreover, he handled the task efficently, alerted me of the progress, and wished me a great day, again in a genuinely friendly manner. Very personable young man who clearly made a great impression...I believe he is an asset to this company! Tyler is welcomed in our home to address any needs in the future, as well as any respresentative of this company. They do great work, and you can trust them to be honest and provide competency/expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend A-1 Basement Solutions!
Orlando C.2024-01-11Of all the companies that I called A-1 Basement Solutions was the first company to come to my house. Steve explained to me the whole process in a very detailed, comprehensive and clear manner. Mike and the site crew were very efficient, and diligent. I was tremendously impressed by the quelity of their work which included the installation of a wall to wall french drain, new sump pumps, and encapsulation of a crawling space. Mike was very courteous and professional. He was there throughout the process and addressed my concerns on request. The total cost of the job was reasonable and it was completed with a great degree of quality.

Every time it rained we were getting so much water in the basement and thanks to this team my mind is now at ease. My basement is dry and healthy just like they promised. These guys are so polite and caring about your property, always working with a smile on their face. I love that. I got my basement back and Mike and Tyler added the finishing touches to exceed my expectations. Steve was extremely impressive with all the knowledge, he is the reason why we went with A-1 solutions compared to all the other quotes we got, this was the best one. Thank you for all the hard work, this is an amazing team and I now have my basement back better than ever.
Mike C2023-11-19A1 installed an extensive French drain system in my house a few years ago. Anytime I have called they have been super responsive and have explained to me any issue - kept me informed and most importantly fixed any issue to completion. The French drain and pump system is an important part of my house and I appreciate A1 responding quickly to my calls. In particular Doug the owner and the technicians Mike, Mario and Ruffino have been great to work with. I will always call A1 to service my system. Thanks, Mike REVIEW FROM FOUR YEAR AGO - below: Greg, Mike, Devin and their team did a great job on the new sump pump system. They explained the process in detail upfront, and then executed! The added certainty that they gave me as a homeowner throughout the process was very important and appreciated. The owner Doug appears to focus on client service as an absolute priority which shows in all of his employees. It has been two months since the system has been installed, and I am very happy so far. I will post with any future update. They also use excellent technology to monitor the system and the feedback is instant to an app and email if there is any issue. I would gladly recommend them and told the company that they can use me as a reference. Mike
